The countryside location of the hotel is perfect for guests to explore or relax: bikes are available for hire from the hotel to explore the nearby forest and lake, or you can relax with a visit to the hotel sauna and Turkish Bath, or simply curl up with a book in the library. Decorated with a collection of antiques, it is not just the food that will captivate you at the hotel restaurant, Jan Breydel. Situated 800m away from the hotel, a taxi is available to take you to and from the restaurant. Jan Breydel is well known for it's fish specialities; fresh ingredients are brought from the fish market in Oostende each day. Lighter foods such as pastas and salads are always on the menu and vegetarian food is available on request. The restaurant has a capacity of 70 people and a banquet room for up to 120 persons. During the summer it is possible for guests to dine outside in the beautiful gardens overlooking the surrounding countryside. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Tuesday, and closed on Wednesdays (all year round), with other restaurants available on the neighbourhood.
